Planning a big family vacation can feel overwhelming, but connecting with Daniella Mery, a travel agent who specializes in Disney adventures as well as national and international getaways, made all the difference. She’s been incredible in helping me coordinate an upcoming multi-generational trip to Alaska, one we have dreamed about for years, but couldn't get started on! After talking with Daniella and filling out a quick and easy form, we explored a few different possibilities, and she quickly sent options that fit our budget, timeline, and desire for both land and sea experiences. I'm honestly not sure why I haven’t leaned on a travel agent before; Daniella took the guesswork out of the process, saved me hours of research, and helped me feel confident in our plans. What is the story behind your business? How did you get started?
Traveling has always been a passion of mine. I have traveled all across the US, with only 11 states left to visit, as well as many other countries. Friends and family would always reach out to me when they were traveling to ask my opinion on things to do, places to eat, etc. in the destination they were off to. I love being the go to person and sharing my experiences. With a little push from my husband, I decided to turn my hobby into a new business venture.
What are some fun facts about you and your work?
Some fun facts about myself are that I am a mom to a 4 year old daughter and 1 year old son, so multitasking is a skill that I have perfected! I have been a teacher for the past 10 years, so organization and planning is second nature to me. A fun fact about my business is that my husband came up with the name!
What do you offer your clients?
At no charge to my clients, I offer start to finish vacation planning.
What are you most proud of?
While Disney vacations are most definitely my specialty, I am happy to serve families, couples, and individuals alike.
Anything else you would like to share?
I am most proud of taking a step out of my comfort zone; a career I have spent 10 years in and absolutely love, to start a new chapter of following my passion and being able to do so while being home to raise my children.
