As someone who is working with the name, Queen of Gutter Balls, it was truly 'extra' special to host an adult birthday party at a bowling alley. I did the research to host a friend's 40th birthday party, and there are so many choices in entertainment and dining in Westchester. Where do you event start? Well, I'll tell ya where I started with the Macaroni Kid birthday party guide which lists places like Bowlmor White Plains!
We booked an all inclusive package of bowling/shoes/lanes, top shelf liquor, food and fun! I also looked into places in NYC, and Bowlmor was about $30 less for the same package and it is local. I loved this package since the price was a great deal, location was convenient for all the guests, the food is delicious, and the environment is tons of fun with black lights bowling and music.
We had a party host that was able to guide our guests upon arrival and keep the party a surprise until the birthday boy was brought down to our special lanes. The party started immediately, there was no down time.
And I really need to mention, we had the most private section of the bowling alley. We were in the corner in 3 lanes which felt cordoned off even though it wasn't. The wonderful pub food was served in the back of the lanes, buffet style. Everything was served hot and tasty! No one rushed us out either, 2.5 hours was the perfect amount of time to play 2 games of bowling and mix and mingle.
Will be here again with our kids, fun, festive, convenient and a good time was had by all.
