Are you looking for a high-quality dance experience for your child with a nurturing environment? It might be right under your nose! The Dance Gallery of Tuckahoe is celebrating its 5th year in business. Fun changes are happening due to exciting growth including 2 new managers and 3 new instructors.
Owner and Director Stephanie Urbina recently promoted Shannon DiNota of Yonkers and Lori Mortensen of Eastchester to manage the day to day happenings at the studio. Shannon is a former professional dancer and current instructor and choreographer. She teaches the performing Junior and Senior companies at The Dance Gallery. Lori is a musical theater instructor at the studio and runs business development. Also between Shannon and Lori, they have 5 daughters dancing at The Dance Gallery!
Two of The Dance Gallery's most popular classes are hip hop and musical theater. Instructor Alexis Roberts is raising the roof with her fun and energetic hip-hop style. She joins the studio from Manhattan where she is a professional dancer, choreographer, and model. She trained at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy and has danced behind Katy Perry, Beyonce and Chayanne to name a few. Kelly Buck joins Dance Gallery to teach tap and musical theater. She received her BFA in Dance from Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts. Her theatre and TV/film credits are extensive and her personality is just a bright! Christine Magliari of Yonkers joins the faculty as another musical theater instructor. Christine has extensive acting experience and has appeared in seven major motion pictures and over twenty prime-time television shows. Christine is currently living in New York City, but is thrilled to return to her hometown to teach and direct theatre programs at The Dance Gallery!
The Dance Gallery continues to make instruction it's number one priority and invites you to try out a class from one of its amazing faculty members. They bring NYC to Westchester, with an accomplished staff of instructors. There is something for everyone: jazz, tap, musical theater, hip hop, ballet, musical theater, and many performing opportunities.
