To find inspiration for your dinner table, visit some of these local #FarmersMarkets in Lower Westchester. One of the great pleasures is being to enjoy fresh produce from our many farms and orchards. If you can’t get out to a farm or are visiting the area, don’t miss the many open-air markets to which the farmers bring the bounty of the Hudson valley region to you.
But first a few tips before you go remember to 1. Try to go early, 2. Bring cash, 3. Make a list of what you need for meal planning, and 4. Bring your own 'green' bags.

Croton Farmers Market
The Croton-on-Hudson Farmers Market opens for its 9th season on Sunday, May 7th in the parking lot next to 1 Croton Point Avenue, across from the Metro North station. Find your favorite regional growers and food makers there, with farm-fresh produce, eggs, meats, coffee, pickles, baked goods and more. The farmers market is open on Sundays from 9am to 1pm through November 19th.
Eastchester Farmers Market
Is new this year every SUNDAY behind Country Markets Supermarket at 344 White Plains Rd from 10am-3pm now through Oct 15, 2017.
Hartsdale Farmers Market
The Hartsdale Farmers’ Market is in its eighteenth season at the Hartsdale Train Station. The market is tentatively scheduled to begin in June and continuing every Saturday through November. The hours of operation are 8:00 am through 4:00 pm.
Hastings Farmer’s Market (NEW)
Saturday’s May 20 through November 18, visit to Ma Riis Park between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. for the Harrison Farmers’ Market. The market will feature approximately 15 farmers offering locally grown, organic produce.

Groundwork Hudson Valley’s newly expanded farmers market in downtown Yonkers features local produce grown within 100 miles of Yonkers, locally-produced baked goods and breads, and jams made by Yonkers public high school students.
